Description of Change: A improved pipe assembly in the 227-0490 Front Lines Gp (ONE-WAY FLOW) on the 365C L Excavators that are equipped with the 263-3683 Auxiliary Control Ar (ONE-WAY FLOW) is now available. The design of the new pipe assembly features a one-piece pipe which improves the strength and service life of the pipe assembly. The former pipe assembly developed a crack at the weld joint between the elbow and pipe that is located near the flange, resulting in a hydraulic oil leak.

Adaptable To: Replace the former 260-8128 Pipe As with the new 356-9089 Pipe As .
During assembly of the new pipe assembly, ensure that the corner of the block is clear from the pipe (a minimum clearance of 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm (0.08 to 0.12 inch)). It may be necessary to remove the corner of the block by cutting or chamfering in order to increase the clearance. Refer to Illustration 3.
Table 1 lists all the part numbers that are required to replace the former 260-8128 Pipe As. Table 2 lists the effectivity and adaptability of the improved tube assembly.
