Improvements to the Fuel Tank Group are Now Used on Certain 336E Excavators {1273}

Description Of Change: Improvements to the fuel tank group are now used on the machines that are listed above. The new fuel tank group is more durable than the former fuel tank group. The new tank has three beads that are added on the fuel tank walls and new brackets for the side cover. The three beads provide stiffness to the tank to reduce stress on the weld end of the boss. The part numbers of the fuel tank group will remain the same. The following illustrations show the differences between the new fuel tank group and the former fuel tank group.

Adaptable To: If the 313-8173 Fuel Tank Gp or the 385-2384 Fuel Tank Gp needs replaced, use the new fuel tank group as shown above. Table 1 shows the effectivity and adaptability of the improved fuel tank group
