Full length track guide guard groups have been available as an attachment for certain excavators listed above. The full length 248-1965 Track Guide Guard Gp is recommended for machines operating in hard material conditions, such as in quarry, mining, and demolition applications. The full length track guide guard group can be used in place of the half length 248-1966 Track Guide Guard Gp which is part of the standard configuration. If a machine equipped with the standard half track guide guard group is operating in these harder material conditions, the half track guide guard group may fail prematurely or the retaining bolts may loosen repeatedly. Instead of replacing a failed standard half track guide guard group with the same part number, replace the failed track guide group with the recommended full length track guide guard group.

Refer to Table for the required parts to install the recommended track guide guard group for your machine.
