Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all hoses and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Disconnect hose assemblies (1), (2), (3), and (5) from implement pilot valve (4).
Note: Put orientation and location marks on all fittings for installation purposes.

- Remove the fittings before removing the implement pilot valve.
