CHANGES TO CAMSHAFT AND CAMSHAFT KIT CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
AVSpare Remanufactured Products Group is announcing changes to the core acceptance criteria for camshafts and camshaft kits (SELD0049-03).
Effective December 2, 2002 the new core acceptance criteria introduces an additional level of core refund to be assigned when a camshaft with excessive lobe and or journal damage is returned. The introduction of a ?partial core credit? will allow AVSpare to continue offering credit for excessively damaged, non-useable camshaft core when purchasing a Reman camshaft. The amount of partial credit given will vary by model.

In addition to this website, copies of the revised criteria will be mailed to holders of the Remanufactured Products Guide. Dealers can also order the revised criteria (SELD0049-03) through normal literature order.
