CHANGES TO 3406 AND C-15, C-16 WATER PUMPS

ANNOUNCEMENT

AVSpare announces a change in the consist and changes to the core criteria (will now accept Midland and Sloan cores for credit) for remanufactured 3406 water pumps (0R-8217 and 0R-8218) and C-15 and C-16 (0R-9869). These water pumps will now include a mounting gasket kit instead of an installation gasket kit. This kit will eliminate the need to dispose of large numbers of gaskets and o-rings not needed for the installation. Any additional gaskets needed for installation purposes will be serviced separately. The former Reman part numbers listed above are cancelled and replaced with the new Reman numbers listed below.

These remanufactured water pumps will now be packaged with the following mounting gaskets. Other gaskets that may be required are serviced separately.

CORE CRITERIA

3406 core criteria have been changed to include the acceptance of both Midland and Sloan water pump cores. Any water pump manufactured by Midland and Sloan will be accepted and must meet full core acceptance criteria. The competitive brand water pump must be interchangeable with a AVSpare Remanufactured Water Pump. Consult SELD0031 for details.
