CHANGE OF REMAN CORE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA FOR PISTON PUMP AND MOTOR GROUPS

Announcement

AVSpare Remanufactured Products is announcing a change to the core acceptance guidelines. Beginning immediately, Reman is adding damaged core refunds for piston pump and motor group cores which fall into any one of the following three categories:

? Pump or motor with no more than one component visibly cracked or broken.
? Pump or motor with known internal damage (see core criteria for details)
? Non-running, after failure pump and motor.

The added damaged core refunds will allow us to be ?easier to do business with? for customers with cores that have one component visibly cracked or broken (flange, housing, shaft, etc.) by providing a ?partial? core credit rather than ?no? core credit as in the past. Damaged core refunds will also allow us to deal more equitably with all customers by differentiating between before failure (running) cores and after failure (non-running) cores.

The Reman Piston Pump and Motor Group Core Acceptance Criteria, media number SELD0113, has been updated to reflect this change. This updated version of the revised core criteria will be mailed in the near future. In the interim, it can be accessed through the Product Support Marketing section of your marketing subsidiary home page. Once inside the Product Support Marketing area, select Remanufactured Products / Core Acceptance Criteria / Piston Pump And Motor Groups.
