CHANGES TO DIRECT PURCHASE PROGRAM FOR
ENGINES
AVSpare
? Remanufactured Products announces changes to the direct purchase program forengines.
Due to changing market conditions, AVSpare Reman is modifying the direct purchase program
for engines. Effective March 1, 2001, a Return Authorization number, issued by Corinth, is
required to return an engine under the program. You can obtain the authorization number and
direct purchase price by calling Reman Core Administration at the number below.
Direct Purchase engine returns will be processed manually. The engines cannot be processed
electronically through CMIS (Core Management Information System). Returns require a paper
copy of the CCR (Core Credit Request) with the Corinth Return Authorization number and a
Packing List (AVSpare form no. 01-089514-00). Any engine returned without an authorization
number, or an engine not meeting the listed criteria, will be rejected and returned freight collect
(upon request) or the engine will be scrapped.

Engines must "bar over" two revolutions.

Cylinder block not visibly cracked, broken or welded.

Fully assembled and complete per AVSpare arrangement.

No non-operational damage (mishandling, excessive rust, corrosion, pitting or fire damage).

Not built from scavenged parts.

Salvageable parts cannot be removed and non-salvageable parts substituted. Suspect cores may be disassembled and inspected internally.

Engines must be completely drained of all fluids.
