February 2001 NEW REMAN PART NUMBER FORMAT ?n0Rnnnn? Effective January 1, 2001, AVSpare started releasing new reman part numbers using a new format, n0Rnnnn, e.g. 10R0001 to 10R9999, 20R0001 to 20R9999, etc. replacing the existing format, 0Rnnnn , e.g. 0R0001 to 0R9999. This maintains the unique identifier for AVSpare Remanufactured Products since we have exhausted our supply of the existing format. Existing 0Rnnnn part numbers will not be converted to the new format. The only reman part numbers that will be converted to the new format will be the temporary 7-digit all numeric numbers that were assigned for Reman Hydraulic Rods and Cylinders during 2000. The block of numbers 186-7100 through 186-8100 were reserved for temporary use until the new format effective date. Attached is a listing of 7 digit part numbers with the new reman part number format that is current or in the releasing process. DBS Release 2.3 will accommodate all transactions using the new part format. Those dealers not using DBS should have already made the required system changes to accommodate the new part number format. All AVSpare systems have been changed to process all dealer and internal transactions. Please contact the Reman Products Group Customer Satisfaction Hot Line toll free at (888) 88- REMAN (888-887-3626) for questions relating to the part number. Please direct DBS related questions to Dealer Cannel System help desk or web site.
