The return hydraulic system routes oil from the entire system to hydraulic tank (13). The attachment return flow routes oil directly to the tank through return line (1). The rest of the oil in the system is routed through slow return check valve (5) and to return oil filter (11). Return oil filter (11) is located within hydraulic tank (13).
When all joysticks and/or travel control levers are in the NEUTRAL position, pump oil from hydraulic pump (7) flows through center bypass passages (9) and (10) to return passage (4). From return passage (4) the pump oil flows to the hydraulic tank (13).
When the oil is cold, the oil can bypass the oil filter and flow into the hydraulic tank through bypass check valve (12). When the oil is warm, the oil will be routed through the return filter element. If there is an obstruction in the filter element, the oil will bypass the filter element through bypass check valve (12).
