The control valves are closed-center, with pressure compensation occurring after the directional control spool.
The loader valve group includes the inlet manifold, the lift, tilt, and auxiliary control valves. The tilt control valve contains two line relief and makeup valves. The auxiliary valve (where fitted) contains a single-line relief and makeup valve.
Oil flows from the hydraulic pump to the inlet manifold and to the steering Priority Valve. The spring holds the priority spool in a position that ensures the steering circuit receives oil flow first. If oil flow is not needed for steering and a control function is activated, the priority valve shifts, directing most of the oil to the loader control valves.
