Position “S” that is on inner race (8) relative to the carbody (1) and bearing stopper (2). Refer to Illustration 1 for the correct orientation of the races. 
455-3798 Bolt  Before assembly , apply blue Loctite 243 to threads. 
Torque to 20 ± 2 N·m (177 ± 18 lb in).
Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the mating surfaces of the swing gear and bearing group and the upper frame assembly. Sealant must be applied to each inward mating surface from bolt hole pitch circle diameter and keep tracking continuously. 
095-1299 Dowel  Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize to the holes of dowel. 
34  461-3875 Bolt  Before assembly, remove compound, oil and dust from bolts, washers and female threads, then apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize Compound to the threads. 
Use the following tightening procedure:
Tighten bolts to 90 ± 15 N·m (66 ± 11 lb ft).
Turn to an additional angle of 55 ± 5 degrees.
Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant to the mating surfaces of the swing gear and bearing group and the carbody assembly. Sealant must be applied to each inward mating surface from bolt hole pitch circle diameter and keep tracking continuously. 
38  461-3874 Bolt  Before assembly, remove compound, oil and dust from bolts, washers and female threads, then apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize Compound to the threads. 
Use the following tightening procedure:
Tighten bolts to 90 ± 15 N·m (66 ± 11 lb ft).
