Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

452-9816 Thumb Ar

Illustration 2g06008971
(A) 452-2728 Thumb

When 5T Mini Hydraulic Excavator is equipped with quick coupler, 452-9816 Thumb Ar, and HDC (Heavy Duty Compact) bucket, the 452-2728 Thumb (Tine) does not properly interface with HDC bucket base edge. 452-2728 Thumb (Tine) falls inside bucket not making contact with bucket base edge. 452-2728 Thumb (Tine) is not long enough to accommodate coupler and bucket offsets on the machines listed above.

Solution

AVSpare is aware of this problem and recommending to follow the below rework procedure.
