The engine air precleaners are located on the right side of the upper deck. Refer to the following procedure to clean the engine air precleaners.
- Loosen the latch and remove the precleaner cover (1) .

- Clean the cover.
- Remove the precleaner screen and clean the screen. The screen can be cleaned with pressure air, pressure water, or a detergent. When pressure water is used, the maximum pressure should not exceed 280 kPa (40 psi).
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" before you use pressure air to clean the precleaner.
Note: Do not clean the precleaner screen by bumping or tapping the precleaner.
- Inspect the precleaner tube for dirt and for dust. Clean the precleaner tube with pressure air if the tube is dirty.
- Install the clean precleaner screen.
- Install the cover (1) and fasten the latch.
- Repeat Step 1 through Step 6 for the other engine air precleaners.
