Swing Brake Pedal

Brake - Push the pedal (1) down to slow, or further down to stop the upper structure from rotating.

Do not use the swing brake pedal and the swing control lever at the same time.

Brake Lock Detent - Push the brake pedal (1) down past the normal braking position and the pedal will be held down by a detent.

Push down on the detent release (2) and the brake pedal will be released.

Boom Cylinder Lock

Locked (1.) - Move the lever vertically to shut off the hydraulic control for the boom.

When traveling, always shut off the boom hydraulics.

Unlocked (2.) - Move the lever horizontally to activate boom hydraulics after traveling.

Swing Lock Pin


NOTICE

Engage the pin only when the upper structure is aligned with the lower carriage.

Do not attempt to engage the pin when the upper structure is rotating.


Pin Engaged - Turn the knob and push down. The upper structure will not swing when the control lever is down and the pin is engaged.

Pin Disengaged - The upper structure can swing when the lever is up and in the detent.

Swing and Stick Control

Stick Out (1.) - Push the lever forward to move the stick out.

Swing Right (2.) - Move the lever to the right to swing the upper structure to the right.

Stick In (3.) - Pull the lever to the rear to move the stick in.

Swing Left (4.) - Move the lever to the left to swing the upper structure to the left.

5. Hold - When released from any position, the lever will return to hold.

Stick and swing functions may be performed at the same time. For example, to move the stick out and swing right at the same time, move the lever forward and to the right.

Backhoe Bucket and Boom Control

Boom Lower (1.) - Push the lever forward to lower the boom.

Bucket Dump (2.) - Move the lever to the right to dump the bucket.

Boom Raise (3.) - Pull the lever back to raise the boom.

Bucket Close (4.) - Move the lever to the left to close the bucket.

5. Hold - When released from any position, the lever will return to hold.

Bucket and Boom functions can be performed at the same time. For example, to lower the boom and dump the bucket at the same time, push the lever forward and to the right.

Clamshell Stick and Swing Control

Stick Out (1.) - Push the lever forward to move the stick out.

Swing Right (2.) - Move the lever to the right to swing the upper structure to the right.

Stick In (3.) - Pull the lever to the rear to move the stick in.

Swing Left (4.) - Move the lever to the left to swing the upper structure to the left.

Hold (5.) - When released from any position, the lever will return to hold.

Clamshell Bucket and Boom Control

Boom Lower (1.) - Push the lever forward to lower the boom.

Bucket Open (2.) - Move the lever to the right to open the bucket.

Boom Raise (3.) - Pull the lever to the rear to raise the boom.

Bucket Close (4.) - Move the lever to the left to close the bucket.

Clamshell Rotator/Angle Bucket Control

Clamshell rotation and bucket angle button control is located on the top of the swing and stick controls.

(1.) Push the button down for clockwise clamshell rotation.

(1.) Push the button down to raise the right side of the bucket.

(2.) Push the button down for counterclockwise clamshell rotation.

(2.) Push the button down to raise the left side of the bucket.

Hydraulic Hammer (If Equipped)

1. Switch Off - Push the switch to the left for machine operation.

2. Switch On - Push the switch to the right for hammer operation.

3. Stroke and Frequency of Hammer (If Equipped) - Push the switch to slow or fast stroke position.

Push the switch down to activate the hammer. Release to deactivate the hammer.
